How we check
A parent cannot sit through every episode first. This page says what we do so that you do not have to.
Before anything is recorded
Each episode starts as a written script with its sources in the header: the Quran by chapter and verse, each hadith by collection and number. The Arabic of every phrase a character says is taken, with its vowel marks, from quran.com or sunnah.com, never typed from memory. A qualified reviewer reviews the Islamic content and the Arabic of every script and signs it off before a single line is voiced. A wording the reviewer corrects is written into a rule, so it cannot come back in a later episode, caption or description.
After recording
Every Arabic phrase in the finished voice track is listened to against its source, by ear and by speech recognition, and a line that is not said as the source writes it is recorded again. Every card that appears on screen is compared with the line it belongs to. Nothing is uploaded until those checks pass, and when a later fix changes a video that is already on YouTube, every copy of it, including sing-alongs, compilations and Shorts, is replaced in the same round.
On YouTube
Each description names the sources for that episode. The channel is set as Made for Kids, so YouTube shows no personalised advertising on it and switches comments off. The episodes carry no product placement and no links that lead a child away.
What we never show
- No prophet, companion or angel is ever drawn. Their stories are told by the family, over paintings of places: a town by the sea, a boat on the waves, a shore at sunrise.
- No magic, ghosts, superstition or scary pictures. Trouble in a story comes from everyday mistakes: forgetting, impatience, being unkind.
- No fear as a motivator. Allah is named with love, and every episode ends with hope.
- No clickbait, no cliff-hangers to keep a child watching, no padding to stretch a video, no toys, no sponsors.
Music
The music is written for the show. We will state our music policy here, in one sentence, once it is settled, because we know families differ on this and want to decide for themselves.
When we get something wrong
We fix it, replace the video and say so in the letter. We have already replaced videos after review, and we will again. If you spot something, tell us. A correction from a parent or a teacher is the most useful message we can receive.
Who checks
Every script is reviewed by a qualified reviewer of Islamic studies and Arabic. We will name our reviewers here with their permission.
